Countdown
COUNTDOWN
It’s only been 2 days since Feudie flew off to China but I’m already feeling the brunt of his absence. Not being able to see someone dear to you is indescribably heart wrenching, it makes me wonder how some couples can cope with long distance relationships. In the meantime, I shall continue to post on this blog daily to update Feudie of happenings and also count down the days to my long awaited epic journey to the Land of the Rising Sun.
Just the other day I was telling Iris that I was gonna step out of the Narita airport looking like some stupid retard going “Hay Hay Hay”.
She called me a stupid retard… Basket.
I had planned on this trip after failing to obtain tickets for BlizzCon a month back. I guess it’s a good thing afterall that we couldn’t get to go. Feudie and I were joking about planting a bomb there and naming the operation ‘Mission: You are Not Prepared‘.
Anyway…
13 days to go! My EGOIST boots is calling out for me!
Things I want to do or see there:
1.) Ogle at the male social escorts. My original devious plan was actually to travel to Japan alone and hire a duck but it was gonna set me back by about $1400 for 4 hours just for his company alone. Maybe if I strike it rich one day…
2.) Eat like a sumo wrestler
3.) Soak in a hot spring and smoke, but I think I’ll get my ass thrown out
Most of all, I’m praying for a miracle of miracles that I’ll be able to see snow for the very first time in my life, but I highly doubt that as I will be going at the start of autumn. Shucks.
Last night, I was at Bugis VirtuaLand with Annie, Iris, Vanie and Lanpa (Lance). We girls were trying out Street Fighter IV and Iris had picked Sagat to try out. I sat beside her and gave her some pointers when she had to fight the guy at the next machine. I think I was more excited than she was.
“KNEE HIM! KNEE HIM! UPPERCUT!"
She lost by a margin. I think the guy’s balls shrunk man. He kept eating her random powered up uppercuts. I could hear them going WHOA over at the other end.
I was trying out C.Viper but I can’t seem to figure out some of her moves which I had seen on the video. She doesn’t seem to be as strong as the rest of the characters but I think I’ll familiarize myself with her a little longer before I move on to the rest. I’m sure I’ll find a way to play her competitively just like how I did with Whip when she first appeared in KOF09.
We headed back home to Bishan after the arcade closed, but Iris and I decided to grab some alcohol and sit down at the open area next to the NTUC to chat. We ended up playing DJ Max 2. People were walking past wondering what on earth were 2 girls doing in the middle of nowhere at 2am in the morning playing PSP going WHOA WHOA WHOA and NO NO NO I’M GONNA FAIL and erupting into bankai mode when the game goes, “You need more practice. Never give it up!”
My thumbs feel awfully sore now.
That gotta hurt.
