I AM SHAMELESS

I was at Bugis again tonight with Lanpa and Iris going at Street Fighter IV. Played a few matches against some guys using C.Viper and derived at the sad conclusion that I have no fate with her. I have tried improving my technique and I think I've upped my game a little but it seems that no matter what I do, I keep losing out either punch for punch or special attacks to special attacks.

Her spinning kick has great recovery but it's not sufficient for me to hold out comfortably against the Shoto kids. I'm struggling to put up a fight. QQ.

Iris won a match with her dashing Sagat but she had refused to continue playing when another challenger stepped in. She insisted I took over and I was quite hesistant at first cos I know jackshit about playing Sagat and he's ugly as hell. Midway through the fight I was blocking and asking her how she does that flying knee thing. I really have no clue to his moves but ironically managed to garner 4 wins merely by mimicking the other Sagat players I had seen playing before.

I asked if she wanted to take over but she looked at me like I was mad and gave a firm no. She said she wasn't going to play now that I've fueled the fire and there was an ominous aura leaking from the other end. I lost my next game to an Abel (played by Mr Rebond Hair Guy) by a liiiiiiiiittle itsy bit. Just one light punch dammit. Arrrgghhh.... I'm gonna learn how to play Mr Baldy now. He's imba. I just have to psycho myself into thinking he's some hot desirable hunk.

Abel's grab move seems a little glitched. I was telling Lanpa and Wei Chern that he can grab opponents when they're halfway getting up from the ground and they noticed it too after watching a couple of matches. Lanpa even tried the game out and he was on the receiving end of it. Boh meaning he said lol.

This guy came up to me and asked if I was the same person who played in the SF3 tourney back in 1997. He even remembered the character I was using and the colour of the outfit I picked! GG.

(I found an old pic back in 1997 during the Capcom Carnival SF3 Tourney at Takashimaya. This pic appeared in the Friday Weekly newspapers and my friend had conveniently scanned it in and sent to me for souvenir. Sandy is the girl in yellow right next to me. I look like some kopi soh.)



Iris managed to complete the game with Sagat and he had some long boring ending. I tried Ryu out and completed the game but all I got was a face shot of Ryu with one stage line and then GAME OVER. Wtf! I grabbed hold of the nearest TKA staff and demanded a refund. He gave me an E-Zone token that got my machine stuck earlier but finally managed to shake me off by promising he'd install a KOF XI machine at Bishan Junction 8. Woot! ^^

I'm such a slut :P
