The Dreaded

THE DREADED

Boy & Girl are sitting on a couch watching TV. Boy turns to Girl and says," Let's apply for a house together." They get married. The End.

It was what I had dreaded all my life. That the once in a lifetime, most important event in your existence is going to start off with a "Let's apply for a house together."

The other day Feudie had said to me to ballot for an apartment and then to check out the Registry of Marriage site to book a date. It felt like the world stood still and I had turned into a block of ice.

No! NO! nO! Fark No! NoOoOOoooo...

This may risk me getting dumped but I will remain firmly adamant about not getting married without a proper proposal. After 10 years with the first love of your life, and are still very much in love no different from the courtship days, you'd expect something a little more from the beginning of your lives together.

I have likened it to being as casual as a gay pulling open your curtain in a gym shower and going, "Hey, want to have a go?"

/No. Not going to happen. NooOoo.... T_T
