Safe Return

We used to play Counterstrike together. Lost touch for a few years, then met by chance in an arcade one day playing KOFXI. He later joined me & Feudie in WoW and we hung out frequently together over weekend coffee sessions. Then he went abroad to study and we lost touch again.

You'd never think that the things that went on in the world would happen to you nor the people around you.

I heard about the news, yet I thought nothing much of it. It was too far away to be of any concern of mine. It was not something that could happen here in this safe little haven of a world that I live in.

Then it hits home. It just seems so surreal even after the news sank in.

1 Singaporean dead. 3 injured. 2 missing... and 1 of them is my friend. All I can do right now is to wait & pray.
