Updates as of 5 April 09
Relocation to a new office1 hr + journey. Smack in the mid of an overcrowded residential hub at the other end of SG. 3 ppl sharing a 2 and a half ppl's desk space.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, the snail slurper comes along and goes," Wah you got such a big desk area to yourself."
No you dickhead, I'm sharing the desk with 2 other ppl. He then throws me a look of pity and adds on," Oh... then it's very small and open leh."
In my heart, I prayed to the gods to grant me the willpower to not sock him in the kisser there and then. My mind was telling me otherwise.
Looking around, I realised that on my left and front sat a dept I have always preferred not to come into contact with. On my right was my naggy direct supervisor (in between my team mate and I) and diagonally across, I could see someone I... don't even want to see to begin with.
And then one of the SOPs for the new place states:
e.) ... are required to scan their figures upon leaving...
Nice. I wonder how my butt is gonna fit into the scanner thingy at the door.
Housing LoanWe are short by 140k. Now to wait for the official housing board letter to come in and then start robbing banks.
HealthMy back was giving me some problems for a while so I went to get it checked at a place near my work area. I yelped when the therapist started pressing the lower back. I think I scared the rest of the patients. So here's my diagnosis (just based on the massaging from the therapist):
1.) The veins on the neck & back area are "knotted". It is due to my long hours in front of the cpu.
2.) My body is very heaty. She recommends I should go to bed latest at 11pm every night.
3.) I do not get enough deep slumber sleep. The body is short of rest therefore it doesn't recuperate.
4.) I have digestion problems, so sometimes I experience discomfort and bloating after eating.
I gotta say she's pretty good. The back feels a lot better now :D I should try to sleep earlier like she recommended.
